Organic Spaghetti Bolognese

A classic Italian dish that will always please! Rich & meaty with aromatic herbs, delicious for both meat and vege night! Using only the best globally sourced certified organic ingredients.

Suggested Uses

What you need

  • 300g spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 500g lean beef minceˆ
  • 150g onions, finely chopped
  • 100g mushrooms, chopped
  • 2x 400g cans tomato puree
  • Mrs Rogers Spaghetti Bolognese Mix
  • 125mL water
  • 100g grated parmesan cheese

ˆ substitute the mince with 2 cans of Lentils, drained & rinsed, and double the mushrooms.

Get Cooking

  1. Heat the oil in a pan and brown the mince, add onions and mushrooms, stirring. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  2. Mix Mrs Rogers sachet with the water and add to the pan.
  3. Add the tomato puree, bring to the boil then simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring a couple of times. instructions.
  4. Cook the  paghetti as per Drain and keep warm.
  5. Mix the meat sauce into the cooked spaghetti and serve.
  6. Sprinkle the cheese on top, or have it available at the table.
