Suggested Uses
What you need
- 300g spaghetti
- 2 tbsp oil
- 500g lean beef minceˆ
- 150g onions, finely chopped
- 100g mushrooms, chopped
- 2x 400g cans tomato puree
- Mrs Rogers Spaghetti Bolognese Mix
- 125mL water
- 100g grated parmesan cheese
ˆ substitute the mince with 2 cans of Lentils, drained & rinsed, and double the mushrooms.
Get Cooking
- Heat the oil in a pan and brown the mince, add onions and mushrooms, stirring. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Mix Mrs Rogers sachet with the water and add to the pan.
- Add the tomato puree, bring to the boil then simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring a couple of times. instructions.
- Cook the paghetti as per Drain and keep warm.
- Mix the meat sauce into the cooked spaghetti and serve.
- Sprinkle the cheese on top, or have it available at the table.
