Perfect for fish, prawns & seafood, crispy onion rings & vegetables.
A versatile mix that can be used as a light Tempura or Beer Batter, as well as a perfect base adhesion batter for breadcrumbs.

Instructions:
Mix 190g dry batter into 285ml cold water, whisk until smooth.
Add sufficient oil to cover bottom of pan & heat on medium until a drop of batter in the pan sizzles.
Coat both sides of fillets & cook fish for 3 minutes each side, or until batter turns golden brown.

For smaller batches work on a ratio of 1 part dry batter to 1.5 parts water.

For an extra crisp batter: replace water with soda water & stand for 15.
