Quick Thai Style Satay Sauce or Dip
Rich, creamy, and full of flavour, this satay sauce provides a delicious Thai twist using Mrs Rogers Thai Seasoning. Perfectly balanced and versatile, it’s ideal for dipping skewers, drizzling over noodles, or spooning onto grilled chicken salads.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1–2 Tbsp Mrs Rogers Thai seasoning
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp lime juice
- 1/3 tsp Mrs Rogers Garlic Powder, (or 1 clove fresh garlic, minced)
- 1/8 tsp Mrs Rogers Ground Ginger, (or ½ tsp fresh ginger, grated)
- ¼ tsp Mrs Rogers Chilli Flakes, optional
- Warm water, as required
Directions
- Combine peanut butter and coconut milk in a saucepan over medium to low heat, whisking until smooth.
- Stir in Thai seasoning mix, soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, garlic, ginger, and chilli flakes (if using).
- Simmer for 3–5 minutes until thickened, stirring continuously.
- Add warm water as needed to reach your desired consistency.
- Add extra seasoning as required (it's best to start with less and adjust to your taste preference).
