Herb Butter

Keep an assortment of different herb butter flavours in your freezer as itโs a delicious way to infuse incredible flavor into your cooking and take everyday meals to the next level.
You can add a disc of herb butter to almost anything, from a perfectly cooked steak, or baked potatoes to sautรฉed veggies
Some ideas are Mixed Herbs, Chilli Pieces, fresh crushed garlic with Rosemary, course ground Pepper or whole Gourmet Pepper corns. Experiment with different combinations to discover your favourite.
Ingredients

Mrs Rogers Herbs (get creative here, but 2 to 3 herbs is a good starting point)

Unsalted Butter, at room temperature

Directions
Combine softened butter and herbs in a bowl until thoroughly combined, place on baking paper, form into a log, wrap and tuck ends under to seal.
Place in the fridge so it can set and then cut into individual discs.
How to Use:
Serve with fresh, warm bread or savoury scones.
Add to cooking for extra flavour.
Place a cube on your cooked steaks for a simple butter sauce.
Add cubed to your roast potatoes or let it melt into mashed potato or into a baked potato.
Stir it through your favourite cooked pasta or noodles with grated parmesan cheese.
Rub it onto cooked corn on the cob.
Beautiful with pan fried fresh seafood or wrap fish in tin foil with a few knobs of Butter with Mrs Rogers Dill, thinly sliced lemon and freshly ground Gourmet Pepper & Sea Salt, wrap up & and place on the BBQ.
Slice a mini baguette in half legthways and smother with Herb Butter and Pepper and grill until golden

Tips:
- You can use either salted or unsalted butter, most people prefer unsalted so they can control the salt levels in their dish.
- Be sure your butter is softened to room temperature but not melted to a liquid.
- You can store your butter in the freezer and thaw whenever it is needed.
