Crispy Potato Peels (Upcycled Snack)
A crunchy, zero-waste snack made from leftover potato skins. Perfect with dips, sprinkled over salads, or served alongside drinks.
Ingredients
- Peels from 4–6 washed potatoes
- 1–2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp Mrs Rogers sea salt (or to taste)
- ½ tsp Mrs Rogers smoked paprika
- ¼ tsp Mrs Rogers garlic powder
- Mrs Rogers baking paper (to line baking tray)
- Optional: Mrs Rogers cracked black pepper, chilli flakes, dried rosemary, or parmesan
Directions
- Wash the potato peels well and pat them completely dry with a tea towel or paper towel. This is key for crispiness.
- Toss peels in olive oil, salt, paprika, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
- Spread in a single layer on a lined baking tray. Bake at 200°C for 15–20 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy. Keep an eye on them as they can brown quickly. The peels will take longer to crisp if they’ve been soaked first.
- Let them cool slightly and add an extra pinch of salt, if needed and enjoy!
