Chicken and Creamy Potato Bake
A comforting, easy mid-week bake made with our Organic Creamy Potato Bake Recipe Base. It creates a rich, creamy sauce that coats tender chicken and soft potatoes for a simple family-style meal.
Ingredients
- 1–2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4–5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 packet Mrs Rogers Organic Creamy Potato Bake Recipe Base
- 1 cup cream + 300ml milk
- 1 cup cheese, grated
- Breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- In a baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes, shredded chicken and onion.
- In a jug, whisk the Mrs Rogers Organic Creamy Potato Bake Recipe Base into the cream and milk until smooth.
- Pour the mixture evenly over the layered ingredients.
- Top with grated cheese and optional breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden and bubbling.
