Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus
Tender asparagus wrapped in crispy bacon, baked until golden and finished with a sweet balsamic drizzle. An easy side dish that is full of taste and perfect for sharing.

Ingredients
- 18 asparagus spears, trimmed
- 6 slices thin-cut bacon
- 1 tsp Mrs Rogers Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp Mrs Rogers Rosemary
- ½ tsp Mrs Rogers Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp honey (optional)
- ¼ tsp Mrs Rogers Salt or Mrs Rogers Marlborough Salt Flakes
- Mrs Rogers Baking Paper (to line baking tray)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a large baking tray with Mrs Rogers baking paper.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with Mrs Rogers Garlic Powder, Rosemary, Black Pepper and Salt Flakes.
Divide the asparagus into 6 bundles of 3 spears. Wrap one slice of bacon around each bundle on the prepared tray.
Brush each bundle generously with the seasoned butter. Bake up to 25 minutes, turning the tray halfway through, or until the bacon is golden and crispy.
- Mix the balsamic vinegar and honey together. Remove the asparagus from the oven and lightly drizzle or brush with the balsamic mixture.
Serve immediately while the bacon is crisp and the asparagus is tender.
