Ingredients
- 2 cups Mrs Rogers Dough baking mix (300g)
- 1 1/4 cups thick greek yogurt (make sure its thick, you don’t want it to be watery)
- 1 egg (for the wash on top of the bagels)
- Mrs Rogers Baking Paper (for lining tray)
- 1 tsp Mrs Rogers white sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp Mrs Rogers black sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp Mrs Rogers sea salt flakes
- 1/2 tsp Mrs Rogers onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Mrs Rogers garlic powder
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 18°0C fan bake.
- In a large mixing bowl, add in 2 cups of dough mix and thick greek yogurt. Mix together until a dough forms. The dough will be sticky.
- Dust the bench with some of the left over dough flour. Cut into 6 equal parts. Roll into long logs. Shape into bagel and pinch the ends to join together to make a complete circle.
- Transfer to a lined baking tray. Lightly beat the egg and use a brush to coat the top of the bagels. Sprinkle over the bagel seasoning.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. If they aren’t quite golden enough, turn up the oven to 250°C and bake for a further 2-3 minutes.
- Allow to cool down for 10 minutes before eating (this gives the dough time to firm up).
- Best eaten fresh or toasted the next day.
