Yields1 Serving

What’s more exciting than making Halloween Treats? Making Halloween Mummies with the kids! This is a real fun twist on sausage rolls that taste really great with the help of Mrs Rogers Mixed Herbs and Mrs Rogers Garlic Salt. YUM!

 300g Pork Mince
 200g Sausage Meat
2 Tbsp Mrs Rogers Mixed Herbs
1 Tbsp Mrs Rogers Garlic Salt
1-2 sheets Ready Rolled Puff Pastry
 1 Egg
2-3 slices of Burger or Smoked Cheese
 1-2 tsp Vegemite
1

Mix the pork mince, mixed herbs and garlic salt together in a bowl using your hands. Shape into round tablespoon sized mini sausages.

2

Preheat your oven to 200°C and line or grease a baking tray. Slice the pastry sheets into 5mm strips and wrap two strips around each piece on mince. Continue until all of the mummies are wrapped. Cook for 20 minutes until the pastry is golden.

3

Using a large straw or the end of an icing tip, cut circles out of the cheese to make the eyes. Place on the warm pastry and let melt slight to help them to stick. Use the Vegemite to make pupils, eyebrows and mouths. Serve with a bowl of tomato sauce.

TIP: Use a ziplock bag to pipe the Vegemite by filling it and cutting one of the corners.
