Spiced Espresso Martini

Did someone say Spiced Espresso Martini, please? Absolutely!

 2 shots Expressed Coffee
 1 shot Kahlua
1 shot Vodka (or 2 if it’s Friday)
 1 cup Ice
1/2 tsp Mrs Rogers Ground Cinnamon (a bit extra to decorate the top)
1/2 tsp Mrs Rogers Ground Ginger

1

In the hot coffee, stir in the cinnamon and ginger. Let sit to the side and cool slightly. NOTE: if you are going to have more than one (hahaha), make more coffee mixture at this time and let the flavours infuse. It will also allow the coffee to completely cool down and to make it easier for future martinis.

2

Once the coffee has cooled, you will see some of the ground spices have settled at the bottom. Tip the coffee carefully off so as not to disturb the spices or strain it through a muslin cloth.

3

In a shaker (if you don’t have a cocktail shaker, use your protein powder shaker), place the ice, coffee, Kahlua, and Vodka in the shaker and shake until you can’t hear the ice anymore. Pour into your best-looking Martini glass and let settle. Make sure you shake all the fluffy stuff out of the top because this will give you the nice creamy top. Sprinkle with a little more cinnamon on the fluff.
