Roast Beef

There's nothing nicer than a crunchy skin on the outside of a roast, and this Roast Beef has a very tasty skin! Using Mrs Rogers Smoked Paprika (http://bit.ly/mrsrogers_smokedpaprika) and Mrs Rogers Cumin Ground (http://bit.ly/mrsrogers_cumin), this delicious rub will not only be tasty on your roast but will make your house smell divine.

 10 Mrs Rogers Bay Leaves, ground
 1 tbsp Mrs Rogers Black Peppercorn Medium Grinder
 1 tbsp Mrs Rogers Thyme
 2 tsp Mrs Rogers Smoked Paprika
 ½ tsp Mrs Rogers Cumin Ground
 1 kg Beef Roast
 Mrs Rogers Premium Fine Sea Salt
 4 tsp Minced Garlic
 2 tbsp live Oil
 Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling

Heat oven to 190C. Mix the bay leaves, pepper, thyme, paprika, cumin and garlic together using the olive oil to make a rub. Rub the mix into the beef and let stand for 10 minutes.

Generously sprinkle the salt over the beef. Heat more oil in an electric frying pan or skillet and brown the beef on all sides. Transfer the beef to a roasting tray and cook for 1 hour. Once cooked, let the roast sit for 10 minutes before slicing.
