Pulled Pork Loaded Fries

Yields1 Serving

Pulled pork is an amazing filler for burgers, but why not try it on our Loaded Fries recipe.

1 bag of Frozen French Fries
1 Pork Roast, 1.5kg-2.5kg (think of the size of your slow cooker)
3 tbsp Mrs Rogers Smoked Paprika
1 tbsp Mrs Rogers Garlic Salt
 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Mrs Rogers Mustard Powder
2 tbsp Mrs Rogers Sea Salt Premium Fine
 1 cup BBQ Sauce
 1 cup Water
250 g Colby Cheese, finely grated
 1/2 Red Onion, finely diced
1 stem Spring Onion, finely diced
1

Mix the paprika, garlic salt, brown sugar, mustard powder and sea salt in a small bowl until combined.

2

Pat the pork roast with paper towel until dry. Spread the rub made earlier over the roast using your hands so that you can spread it evenly. Place pork roast in slow cooker on a low setting.

3

Mix the BBQ sauce and water together and pour around the sides of the pork roast. Leave for 6-8 hours until the roast pulls apart.

4

Cook the fries in the oven as per the directions. While cooking, remove the pork roast and using 2 forks, pull the meat to create strings. Mix the meat back in with the sauce left in the slow cooker.

5

Once the fries are cooked, place a layer on a serving plate suitable to be placed in the oven (or on just one big plate if serving as a platter). Then top the fries with the pulled pork, cheese, onion and spring onion. Put back into the oven until the cheese has melted. Top with more BBQ sauce or our Homemade Sriracha Sauce.
