Mrs Rogers Mulled Wine Cobbler

Yields1 Serving

Mrs Rogers Mulled Wine Cobbler is a very good reason to have a bottle (or more) of red wine in your wine rack as well as a few packets of Mrs Rogers Mulled Wine. They fly off the shelf as quick as they are put there so if you see them, grab them quick!!! Plus, this is also a really tasty pudding to fill those cold tummies.

 500ml Red Wine
1 Mrs Rogers Mulled Wine EcoPack
 1/4 cup Caster Sugar
4 Plums, cut in half and pip removed
 4 Apples, cut into quarters
8 Feijoas, cut the top off and cut in half long ways
 125g Butter, cubed
1/2 cup Brown Sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp Mrs Rogers Cinnamon Ground
 1 cup Self-Raising Flour
 1 cup Oats
 1/2 cup Flaked Almonds
NOTE:
Use any fruit you like! Also know that by cooking an alcohol, the alcohol content is removed and just leaves the taste.
1

Bring the red wine and sugar to the boil in a pot and steep the mulled wine EcoPack. Continue to boil for 10 minutes until the sauce starts to become syrupy. Remove and drain so that the spices are left behind.

2

In an oven-proof dish, place the fruit alternately around the dish. Bake for 10 minutes on 180°C.

3

In a bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, oats and almonds and rub through with your fingers until the butter is dispersed through the crumble. Pour the mulled wine over the fruit. Sprinkle the crumbs over the fruit. Return to the oven for a further 20 minutes until the crumbs are golden. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
