Homemade Hummus

This recipe is so easy to make that it even surprised us! There is really no reason why you can't always have Homemade Hommus in your fridge, ready to go! And the fantastic thing is that you can flavour it however you want.

 1 can Chickpeas, drained
 1 tsp minced Garlic
 ¼ cup Oil
 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
 2 tbsp Mrs Rogers Sesame Seeds
 1 tsp Mrs Rogers Cumin
 ½ tsp Mrs Rogers Pink Himalayan Salt, to taste

In a food processor or bullet machine, blend the oil and sesame seeds until you can’t see the seeds any more.

Add the garlic, lemon juice and cumin then add 1/4 of the chickpeas and blend, adding more until all of the chickpeas are used. Continue to blend until smooth. Taste and add salt as required. Serve with cut vegetables and pita crisps.
