This is a quick recipe that does not need to be left to rise for hours. The yeast in the beer and the self-raising flour allows the bread to rise.
Preheat oven to 180°C
In a large bowl, mix rosemary, sugar and flour together. Add the beer and continue to mix. The mixture will thicken into a sticky dough and at this point get your hands in and mix the dough. Pour the dough into a loaf tin, sprinkle Garlic Salt evenly on top of the dough and bake for 50 minutes until golden and crunchy on top and soft in the middle.
Serve fresh and warm with homemade herb butter.
