Coffee and Cacao Slice

Welcome to Mrs Rogers Test Kitchen - it’s COFFEE AND CACAO time.

 3 cups Puffed Rice
 ½ cup Dark Chocolate Pieces
 ½ cup Coffee Beans, diced finely
 3 cups Shredded Coconut
 ½ cup Cacao Powder
 200 g 70% Dark Chocolate
 ½ cup (100g) Coconut Oil
 2 tbsp Honey
 2 tsp Mrs Rogers Mace
NOTE: This recipe can be easily halved.

In a large bowl, combine the puffed rice, chocolate pieces, coffee beans, coconut and cacao and mix until combined.

Melt the 70% dark chocolate, coconut oil and honey together in the microwave. Do this at 20 sec intervals, stirring in between. Add the mace and stir to combine. Set aside.

Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until combined. Press into a 20cm x 30cm pan using the back of a spoon. Place in the fridge for 2 hours then slice into bars.

NOTE:

Alternatively, use Mrs Rogers Party Bake Cups and a mini muffin tray, and individually press the slice mix into each cups. Then refrigerate.
