Cinnamon, Pear and Dark Chocolate Bowl Cake

Are you sick of cereal and toast for breakfast? Well, get on the European trend of a Bowl Cake for breakfast. There is no reason not to try this recipe at least once as it is a quick breakfast for one and using Mrs Rogers Ceylon Cinnamon Powder, you know it’s going to be good.

 1 Egg
 1/4 cup Quick Oats
 1 tsp Cocoa Powder
 1-2 tsp Maple Syrup, Honey or Stevia
 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
 1 Tbsp Coconut Flour
 1 tsp Mrs Rogers Ceylon Cinnamon Powder
 1/2 Pear, core removed
 20g Dark Chocolate Chips

Combine the egg, oats, cocoa powder, maple syrup, baking powder, coconut flour, cinnamon and 3/4 of the chocolate chips in a bowl.

Fill the pear with the remaining chocolate and place cut side down in a new bowl. Pour the mixture from step 1 over the pear and cook in the microwave for 2 minutes. Remove and tip out onto a plate. Serve with sliced pear and extra maple syrup.
