The Pink, or Red Peppercorn is a semi-ripe berry & not a true peppercorn from the pepper vine.
Used as a component of our Gourmet Pepper, it provides a mild sweet, fresh, almost floral flavour and aroma.

The Variety

Pink Peppercorns, Schinus terebinthifolia, is native to subtropical and tropical South America. Sometimes known as Brazilian Pepper, or Rose Pepper, it is a flowering plant in the cashew family and is not a true peppercorn.
