A blend of warming spices, to add depth of savoury flavour to home made pickles, chutneys and sauces.
Suggested Uses
Add whole to slow cooked casseroles and stews to draw out the flavour.
Grind in a coffee grinder or mortar and pestle for smooth sauces.
To gain flavour without seeing the spices, add to a muslin bag in the sauce or dish, then remove and discard before bottling or serving.
The Variety
Made in New Zealand to my own recipe, from internationally sourced ingredients, for a deeply complex, warming spice flavour. Inspired by the Kiwi tradition of pickling home grown produce.
A blend of Mustard Seeds, Allspice, Black Pepper, Coriander, Dill Seed, Cinnamon, Cloves, Chilli, Bay Leaf, Cardamom.
