Add extra flavour to soups and stews & commonly used in Creole cuisine, pickles, breads, cheese, egg & fish dishes. Celery can help cut the richness of fatty meats such as pork, chicken and duck.

Suggested Uses
  • Mix with salt as a flavourful seasoning.
  • Use sparingly to avoid over powering your dish.
  • Add to soups and stews for extra flavour.

The Variety

Celery Seeds are actually the fruit of Apium graveolens, in the same family as carrot, cumin, coriander, caraway and parsley. They are native to Central Europe.
