Celery Seeds have a distinct warm aromatic & slightly bitter celery flavour.

Suggested Uses

Mix with salt as a flavourful seasoning.

Use sparingly to avoid over powering your dish.

Add to soups and stews for extra flavour. Celery can help cut the richness of fatty meats such as pork, chicken and duck.

Whole spices retain better flavour than ground. Store in the closed ziplock bag until needed and grind using a coffee grinder or mortar and pestle.

The Variety

Celery Seeds are actually the fruit of Apium graveolens, in the same family as carrot, cumin, coriander, caraway & parsley, native to Central Europe.
