Sweet and Spicy Chicken

This Sweet and Spicy Chicken dish is perfect for those dinners where you want something really tasty. 

  cup Warm Water
 ¼ cup packed Brown Sugar
 2 tbsp Orange Juice
 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
 2 tbsp Tomato Sauce
 1 tbsp White Vinegar
 4 cloves Garlic, minced
 ½ tsp Mrs Rogers Chilli Flakes
 ¼ tsp Mrs Rogers Chinese Five Spice
 1 tsp grated Orange Peel
 2 tbsp Olive Oil
 700 g Skinless, Boneless Chicken Breast, diced
 2 Water
 2 tsp Cornflour
 2 tbsp Ice Cold Water

In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, orange juice, soy sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar, garlic, chilli flakes, Chinese five spice, and orange peel until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is combined.

Heat the oil in a large frypan on a medium heat and fry the chicken until cooked and brown. Add the sauce mixture to the chicken, along with the 2 cups of water, and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and cooked covered for a further 30 minutes stirring occasionally.

Mix the cornflour and water together and add a ¼ of the mixture at a time to the chicken. Let the sauce thicken and then serve.
