Kumara and Ham Cheat Scones

These Kumara and Ham Cheat Scones are so tasty you could just eat them warm with butter..... or serve them with soup! There's no need to cut butter into this scone mixture and by adding Mrs Rogers Kiwi Roast Blend, they have that extra boost of flavour.

 1 cup finely grated Kumara
 3 slices Ham, diced
 ¾ cup Tasty Cheese, grated
 2 cups Plain Flour
 1 tsp Mrs Rogers Sea Salt Iodised
 1 tsp Mrs Rogers Gourmet Peppercorns, ground
 4 tsp Baking Powder
 1 Egg, beaten
 2 tbsp Olive Oil
 ¾ cup Milk
 Mrs Rogers Kiwi Roast Blend Medium Grinder

Pre-heat oven to 180C fan forced. Combine the kumara, ham and cheese in a bowl.

Sift the flour and baking powder over the kumara mixture and then add the salt and pepper.

Add the oil, egg and milk and stir until the mixture is just combined. In a greased muffin tin (you can just use spray oil), place large tablespoon amounts into each hole. Grind the Kiwi Roast Blend on the top of each muffin just so that there’s a small sprinkle.

Bake for 15 minutes until golden. Serve warm with butter.
