Simply Delicious!
A quick, easy Italian Salad. The fresh flavours are perfect for summer BBQ's.
Basil infused oil adds a wonderful fresh flavour but can be substituted for olive oil. See my recipe for Olive Oil Infused with Herbs & Spices.
Arrange sliced tomatoes on a platter, sprinkle lightly with sugar. Grind Mrs Rogers Gourmet pepper and Mrs Rogers Sea Salt to taste. Let the tomatoes rest for 15 minutes to allow sugar to dissolve.
Lay a slice of mozzarella on each of the tomato slices.
Drizzle with Basil infused olive oil and lightly drizzle with balsamic vinegar
Lay a fresh basil leaf on each portion and serve.
