Cinnamon Afghan Biscuits

Afghan Biscuits are a Kiwi classic, but we've spiced them up a little!

 200 g Butter, softened
 ½ cup Sugar
 1 ¼ cups Plain Flour
 ¼ cup Cocoa Powder
 2 ½ cups Cornflakes
 200 g Cooking Chocolate

Preheat oven to 180C. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

Add the flour and cocoa powder to the butter mixture and stir until mixed. Add the cornflakes and stir into the biscuit mixture.

On a lined baking tray, place spoonfuls of the mixture and push down until they look like a biscuit shape. Place in the oven for 15 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let cool on the tray. Melt the cooking chocolate in the microwave on short burst, stirring in between. Ice the biscuits with the melted chocolate.
